“Don’t be afraid of the space between your dream and reality.
If you can dream it, you can make it so.”

I’m back in Thailand again enjoying a teamTBB training camp. I was a bit nervous about what the boss was going to say about my fitness after having some forced time off over the winter from whacking my knee jumping into a pool. But I’m pleased to say I seem to be going better than ever. Well, in the bike and run I am. My swim has lacked the necessary TLC from having the world’s best coach on poolside but he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve to help fix it so I very much hope they work!
Unfortunately, that wont be in time before my first race this weekend in Singapore where I expect to get my ‘arse’ royally handed to me by my teammates! If only they weren’t all top 10 in the world! But rest assured I’ll be giving it my best effort regardless and I will make for a good training day. Whatever happens this weekend, I wont be swimming as badly as I did 10 months ago in Lanzarote…
… and yes, that video really is of me. Thankfully I’m a lot faster than that now, admittedly I still have a long way to go, but with continued perserverance and dedication, I will get there and I will fulfil my dream. As my fellow teammate, Caroline Steffen, quotes: “Don’t be afraid of the space between your dream and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so.”
